Department of Energy employees enjoyed music, games and food Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at the Feds Feed Families Lollachilipalooza.

The annual event promoted awareness of the Feed the Families campaign, which encourages federal employees to donate food to families in need.

Tuesday's event featured a chili cook off with participants from nine agencies: DoE, Department of Agriculture, General Services Administration, Housing and Urban Development, FEMA, FAA, EPA, DHS (Coast Guard) and the Peace Corps.

Entertainment was provided by two bands made up of federal employees: USDA's NRCS Outlaws and Yellowcake, a rock band fronted by Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Poneman.
