April 8, 2015 — Millennials (or Gen Y) are the fast-moving, high-tech, gamer generation that Uncle Sam wants and needs to augment the government’s rapidly aging, retirement-bound workforce.

So who are the millennials, and why and how should the government court them? Coming out of a deep recession, shouldn’t they be grateful for a job — period?

Susan Fallon, an expert on the M-generation, will answer those questions when she joins host Mike Causey on “Your Turn” .

Fallon is the vice president for Global Strategy and Business Development at Monster Government Solutions, and she says federal agencies need to go after millennials, offer them interesting work, and give them a career path, not just a GS rating.

Also on the show, Federal Times reporter Andy Medici will bring us up to speed on the House and Senate budgets, and the likelihood that the federal retirement program make take some hits this year.

Listen if you can (1500 AM or online), and if you have questions email them to Mike at mcausey@federalnewsradio.com or call in during the show at (202) 465-3080. The show will be archived here.
