Obama to nominate former SBA official Jordan to head OFPP
President Barack Obama announced Friday his plans to nominate Joseph Jordan, a former Small Business Administration official, to head the Office of Federal Procurement Policy.

Survey: Telework still elusive at many agencies
Many agencies are not as gung-ho on telework as President Barack Obama or lawmakers would have it, according to preliminary findings from a survey the Congressional Research Service is conducting. The Veterans Affairs Department, for example, allows just 12 percent of its employees to telework. And at several other agencies, many workers who are eligible to telework do not.

This is a common sense proposal. We've rushed to this decision because the Pentagon must begin planning now for what they're going to do next year. So if these cuts are enacted, they would have to plan on that at a very early occasion.
